Hello all,

I am a young person and I have problems with my hair they very dry and not soft. I can not fix them and they keep only its own form. Do you suggest anything, like better barber, products to make is soft so I can make other hairstyles, etc?

Thank you!

getting your hair properly styled is essential. Trust me. A good stylist will understand your hair and will know how to style it given it’s natural properties.

as for product, yes of course, but you’ll have to experiment a bit and make some educated guesses.

Over the years I’ve slowly started to use Kiehl’s for just about everything and have not had any complaints.

I think it depends a lot on the kind of your hair. some shampoo may be good for my hair but it may not be good for your hair. first you should consider this fact.

  1. Regular Haircuts: Visiting a skilled barber or hair stylist who understands your hair type can make a significant difference. They can help shape your hair in a way that works best for you and recommend suitable styles that complement your hair's natural texture.
  2. Hydration: Dry hair often lacks moisture, so using hydrating hair care products is crucial. Look for shampoos and conditioners specifically formulated for dry or damaged hair. These products typically contain ingredients like argan oil, coconut oil, shea butter, or hyaluronic acid, which can help nourish and moisturize your hair.
  3. Deep Conditioning Treatments: Consider incorporating deep conditioning treatments into your hair care routine once or twice a week. These treatments penetrate the hair shaft to provide intense moisture and improve the overall condition of your hair. You can use store-bought deep conditioners or try DIY treatments using natural oils like coconut oil or olive oil.
  4. Leave-In Conditioners: Using a leave-in conditioner can help keep your hair hydrated throughout the day. Look for lightweight formulas that won't weigh your hair down but still provide moisture and manageability.
  5. Avoid Heat Styling: Excessive heat styling can further dry out your hair and lead to damage. If possible, minimize the use of heat styling tools like blow dryers, flat irons, and curling irons. When you do use them, always apply a heat protectant spray to shield your hair from heat damage.
  6. Protective Hairstyles: Consider wearing protective hairstyles like braids, twists, or buns to minimize manipulation and protect your hair from environmental factors that can contribute to dryness.
  7. Healthy Lifestyle: Remember that the health of your hair is often reflective of your overall health. Make sure you're drinking enough water, eating a balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals, and getting enough sleep.

Thank you for this! I would take note of this.
