I will share this in the case another guy is in the same boat I was.
After posting this (perhaps, an hour to and hour and a half later), the "Donut" had increased, a lot. It was pretty bad, worse than I had found that people had given pictures of online. But, I didn't let the ominous look get my better sense and start to panic or stress.
As I continued researching, it seemed that between professionals and opinions, one aspect of helping the recession of the Lymphatic Fluid Buildup ("Donut" from pumping) was that of "massaging, ensuring the massage pulled down towards the base of the penis.
Below is what I did over a 6 hour time-frame that by hour 7, my penis had NO buildup, and was back to normal (minus a bit of left over effect of pumping). I am not a professional, or have any medical experience -- but I can attest that this worked for me. This could work for you, or perhaps not. This is just to add, seeing as it seemed many people that posted or commented about this issue never seemed to follow up as to what happened (Did it drain? Did it take a month? Did your penis fall off? You get my message).
(1) I started by holding/pulling my penis (100% flaccid) out from my body, and then using lotion -- massaged and slid my hand down from directly below the head to my pelvic bone. I did between 5-10 minutes of this, and then would put on very tight briefs, ensuring the penis was in an upright position.
(2) After doing the above 4-5 times over a two hour period, I noticed that it was very awkward doing this, and it seemed to not be helping. So, I thought of another possibility that could work if the above seemed to give no results. I did step one 2-3 more times over the next hour (hour 3), and then by hour 4 was thinking this was useless. BUT, I had another idea I would try if by hour 5 there was no results.
(3) Hour 5 and it was just as bad as when I started. So, I decided to try my idea:
Instead of keeping the penis flaccid, what about keeping a semi to full on erection, but doing the same technique of only pulling/sliding down from the head to the base.
I got some . . . viewing material . . . to assist in gaining an erection, and for 45-50 minutes I stroked downward (NEVER up, which would defeat the entire purpose). I payed special attention to not squeeze hard or be rough, but kept a light-medium grip and stroked down, released, and stroked down, continuing to repeat. At the 50 minute mark I noticed that it seemed like the buildup was not at the top of my penis, but directly half way down the shaft. Since I was fully erect I could not be sure. None the less, As I saw an hour coming up, I decided to ensure for the last 5 minutes that I be 100% erect, and kept the same movement.
At the end I again, put on very tight briefs, but this time positioned my penis downward in them.
(4) After about an hour and a half, I needed to use the restroom and went in to do my business. When I pulled down my underwear I was completely shocked to see the build up / Donut, was completely gone . . . Only difference in my penis overall (pre-pumping to post-pumping-post-donut, was that I seemed to be hanging more, (Less "grower" type of state, which is completely different for me), I am assuming just minor lingering effects of the pumping session.
(5) That's all!
In conclusion:
I can not say this would work for everyone, or to skip the first two steps and just do the last. I do not know if wearing tight underwear had an effect for sure, or if there was indeed an effect on if I was pointing up or down. All I can say is this was my experience and what worked for me (when I was expecting at least 24 hours minimum with the build up).
Also, for any guys that think "Oh, well I can just go for it and get the build up and then do this method," I would advise from my researching against that. This is a way of your body responding and saying, "Slow down buddy!" I can not say it would cause permanent damage or not, but I would not see there being a benefit to it.
Going forward I will be focusing on not getting too "Pump Happy" and end with the same situation. It would have been better to not have it happen and get to enjoy the pumping results rather than worrying about reducing the size of fluid build up.
Hope this can help someone!
All the best,
CJ
